I personally am wanting to see how this ends seeing as, from just a quick skim, most of the reply’s are calling out this self proclamed non-nerd.
Sometimes I really don’t understand why I torture myself by reading video game forums, I guess I get some kind of a kick out of it. It makes me giggle sometimes to see the nerd rage that can surround single posts about unfair game mechanics or how someone died when the other guy should have died.
Today I decided to dive headfirst into the cesspit that is the Official Halo 3 Forum. After wading though the numerous piles of “Scarab in MP” and “Fix BR Spread” topics, I stumbled across something new and refreshing, something I haven’t seen in at last three days. A “Ban Elites” topic.
I’ve seen many of these topics over the last year, rage ranging from “aliens are stupid” all the way to saying the model is bugged. The majority of these complaints are aimed towards the use of the Elite player model in the “Team SWAT” playlist, where headshots reign supreme. I’ve taken some time to demonstrate one of these bugs.

Update: OK, according to UPS tracking, the package is in Winnipeg Manitoba now, must have gotten on a lucky flight

Update 3: As of 8:30 AM Friday, it’s in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Seeing as it’s the weekend, I probably won’t get it until Tuesday.

Update 4: Got it on Monday! Apparently UPS was having tracking issues.
Dragon Age: Origins is a new dark fantasy epic from BioWare.
I’ve been having quite a fun time playing Battlefield: Bad Company the past week, I’m really enjoying the tactical destruction and the gameplay overall. Although it seems that DICE was rushed to release this one as there is only ONE multiplayer game type.

For those of you that didn’t know, I’ve had a problem with an ingrown toenail for the past few years. I finally dicided that enough was enough and went in to get surgery done on it yesturday.
The procedure itself only took about an hour after a 2 hour wait, and only hurt a lot. I take solace in the fact that I probably won’t have to go through that again though.
